Pantheus Speaks

Frankly, I have for some time been considering the worth or damage, or value of printing gorean fiction, as it were, in The Gorean Voice. This feeling has changed over time, and I now feel we are doing JN, and what he wrote a disservice.

I used the dropping off of our current fiction author to test or use the feelings I have come to, to eliminate the fiction section of the Voice. We all know JN wrote fiction, and any attempts 'we' make in writing gorean fiction somehow doesn't set right with me. Somehow it seems to slap at him, or attempt to emulate him, and that simply can't be done. Some might disagree, but that's how I feel.

I know it's summer time, and at least in the Northern Hemisphere, great weather, and vacation times, and time for some of us to get away from the computers. I also know the input of articles and features for publication is slow and more difficult to find. This *is* YOUR magazine, and yet we seldom if ever hear what YOU'D like to see, or what you can write, and share. There has been no poetry, debate column, spotlight, potpourri, puzzles, or music as quite simply there has been nothing forthcoming to use there.
