Runes

Tuchuk Haruspex's Reading of the Runes
for:     skyana_MW

(done in the Cross spread using stone runes, representing an overarching and more complete view of the situation surrounding the question)

hagalaz rune What may be seen or learned from the left rune representing an important element of the past:

Hagalaz is the rune representing the destructive force of hail, thus it symbolizes destruction, disruption and chaos in one's life. It usually heralds a great time of testing or drastic upheavals and change with many hurdles to overcome with the idea before any gain there are usually major losses to be endured first. It can indicate this is a time for delay due to all the hindrances. Overall a sign of hardship.

inguz rune

What may be seen or learned from the center rune representing a deciding element of the present:

Inguz is the rune of completion and fertility. The presence of this rune suggests that tasks which have been initiated will come to fruition and a time of reaping what has been sown is at hand. A time of completion which indicates the beginning of another phase of life on its way or a rebirth of some kind. A time for faith which will be rewarded.

eihwaz rune

What may be seen or learned from the top rune representing the forces working for you:

Eihwaz is symbolic of the Yew tree which represents endurance and flexibility. The yew tree bends but does not break. It is also one of the evergreen species and therefore represents things of eternity - such as the cycle of life and death. As such it signifies some kind of turning point or transformation on the way.

raido rune

What may be seen or learned from the bottom rune representing the forces working against you:

Raido is the rune of riding and journeys taken. In this reading, it was presented here reversed, suggesting a disruption of some kind and, in some instances, can mean a lack of good advice or stubbornly holding on to a position that is not wise or sound. In light of the seeker's question and of the reading in general, it seems to indicate that a wait of some kind may be in order or a delay in things coming.

laguz rune

What may be seen or learned from the right rune representing the critical element of the future that is at the core of the final outcome:

Laguz is the rune representing water and all its strengths, meanings and forms. Water is often a sign that meditation is needed and deep inner searching. It is also a very feminine rune and as such can represent beginnings and endings from which new beginnings come from - the cyclical nature of life and death and of the world itself of which we are all part. It can symbolize journeys - physical ones as well as spiritual ones or emotional ones. As a symbol of primal power, this is also a sexual symbol which again ties into the whole meaning of the rune and its ties into basic elemental forces. In this position it most likely means something of an inner cleansing needed and deep meditation from which the answer you already hold within you is given revelation or, as the forces of ocean tides coming back into shore, may mean the return from a long journey.

Tuchuk Haruspex's Reading of the Runes
for:     Master Jimileri of Lara

(done in the Fork spread using jade runes, representing the dynamics surrounding an important decision regarding the question)

berkana rune The left rune represents the first possible outcome:

Berkana is the rune of the birch tree and representative of rebirth, fertility, family matters and positive outcomes to ventures undertaken. Upon further meditation was also indicating some slight cautions and a need to delve into things deeply, possibly seeking help from friends as needed and a stepping back to reexamine what is being done to make sure that the well being of others was the primary consideration and secondary to the well being of the seeker.

gebo rune

The right rune represents the second possible outcome.

This is one of the runes that represents the cycles of the year and the time of harvest - reaping what has been sown. It symbolizes issues of love, marriage, a partnership always remembering the best ones are give and take and usually coming with the price of some kind of personal self sacrifice.

kano rune

The bottom rune represents the critical factor that determines what will come to pass.

Kano is the rune of enlightenment and knowledge, and some hidden truth revealed in the fullness of time. It can represent imagination, creativity, inspiration or comfort in some of the darkest times of life. This is the time for clear intents, concentration and clarity of thought as an opportunity may be at hand and a sure sign that some change is on the way. You can shape the outcome of this time with careful planning, thought and then decisive action.
