We here at THE GOREAN VOICE have received the following letter from Darrell Benvenuto, owner of Vision Entertainment, the company who was working to publish the 26th Gor novel "Witness of Gor" and who had plans to publish "GOR MAGAZINE" a graphic-novel type publication which will illustrate stories based on the novels. This is the last time you'll see 'Vision' in the menu. I will quote portions of it, but the bottom line is that there is no more Vision / Gor connections. Subject: Gor Magazine Cancelled Dear Folks -- As you most likely know by now, with the continuing disinterest of the fandom in advance-subscribing to Gor Magazine, [snip] we have decided to cancel Gor Magazine in the entirety and allow the graphic rights for the series to revert to John Norman. We will be returning the handful of advance subscriptions that we did receive. Since we will no longer be publishing Gor Magazine, in the interest of both removing us from the eye of the fandom and maintaining tight control over the artwork we have produced for the Magazine, I must ask you to please remove all artwork and material, written and/or visual, pertaining to Vision Entertainment, Gor Magazine, etc., from the site(s) under your control. Thanks in advance. Believe me when I say that no one is sorrier than I am that things did not work out with the magazine. I can only hope that the future holds better and brighter things for everyone concerned. ---
