Welcome to the second issue of THE GOREAN VOICE.
Response to the first issue has been fantastic, with over a thousand hits on the site. It is gratifying to see so many appreciate the work that went into making THE VOICE a reality. We will continue, in the coming months, to provide you with the very best of Gorean content from a fan and lifestyle perspective. Spread the word, and tell any interested friends about the site.
Literary submissions are up and the September issue is coming along nicely. We *always* are on the lookout for fresh content and ideas, so if you have been hesitating to write that article, story, poem, or letter to the editor, do it now!
This months issue is a treat. We introduce a new columnist, Zeb, who will discuss the books and the thread of the philosophy the runs through them. We present his inital column for your perusal today.
Mastiff is back and this time looks into the thought that men are naturally inventive, and why that is a dangerous thing on a planet like Gor.
Jarl returns to his Table, and answers some questions, and speaks of control over irc.
sasha returns from the kitchen, flour smudged on her nose, to present you with two more recipes to tempt your taste buds. Take my advice; try the donuts.
sterva continues her story about Valerus of Ar and his slave, and what they encounter. This story has become one of our most popular features, read it each month, so you do not have to go back to the archives to catch up when you hear everyone talking about it.
This month we also have kylie, speaking on the topic of free will, ones actions and what the cost of such things are.
The letters page debuts with a few thoughts from our readers. As always, the page is open for your thoughts, comments and notions. It is a great place to have your words read by a very large Gorean/fan audience.
And don't miss the comics! Opal has gathered another look at this place we call Gor, for all its glory and ... well... even when it is not so. ;0)
Until September, and the chill Fall winds begin to blow, I wish you well.
