The Gorean Voice recognizes, that there are a lot of web pages claiming to be Gorean. In viewing many, if not most of them, we find few that follow closely the writings, of John Norman, and tend to portray the html authors' vision of Gor. In that light, The Gorean Voice has an award that will be given monthly , to sites, that in its' opinion, are NOT representative of the Gorean way; but in fact are grossly false, or misleading. Fill out the application below, to have a gorean website considered for this very prestigous award.

Y/you may or may not know that Fantassia's Palace has a seperate area to it... the land of GOR. Gor can not be accessed through normal means, but rather by Goreans who know where the portal to this Counter Urth is. For those of you that don't know what GOR is... here's a brief over view of the savage land.

Gor, also known as Counter-Earth (Or Urth as it is spelt and said by the Goreans), is a planet where Males dominate and girls, stolen from Urth, are made to be slaves. There are also free-men and free-women on Gor both of whom own slaves, called kajirae (female slaves) and kajiri (male slaves). Free-women are not necessarily safe from slavery on Gor.... So do beware.

The concept of being "Gorean" is abstract at the very least. As one reads each book the ideas of what it is to be Gorean that John Norman (the author of the Gorean chronicles) wishes to present become clearer.He strives to create a world in which the most basic of instincts between men and women are manifest. He uses what he knows of our own humanness and creates a world where it is natural for Men to dominate and women to be dominated - all women - be they slave or free... it is just a matter of degree.

Why: This is a combination (?) BDSM/Gorean room.

Description: one of the main "rules" for the inn is:

ALL must show mutual respect to each other.

The Inn is has a council which has as its President, "Lady Raven" and the Vice-President "Wolf of Treve".

There are also two sets of rules for the room, one for subbies and one for slaves, which goes hand-in-hand with the "sub/slave couch"
