A slave girl’s tears
by charlotte{TSG}





The flames now lit, the pyres burning bright
To honor Those so brave upon this night

And kneeling there so quietly on the sand
A slave girl, with a flower in her hand

As bitter tears like dew drops touched the ground
The breaking of her heart the only sound

The smoke rose high like clouds above the dunes
Her sorrow laid there bare beneath the moons

What price to pay for loving One so brave?
Just knowing what it was to be His slave

A whispered word from lips that trembled still
“girl loves You Master...and she always will’
