BennKar Speaks Hello, I'd like to introduce myself. I am BennKar, the new editor of The Gorean Voice I'm taking over for Pantheus, who has done a wonderful job with this newletter, and I hope I can keep up with his high standards. And my best wishes for him and Kaye, *and their fishing.* For this, the start of the fifth year of TGV, we are welcoming a new columnist, Taleesa. She will be writing a Free Womens column for the TGV. She has written very interesting articles for sites that she maintains, and I expect we will see very interesting writings from her in the future. Also, the popular column by Simon, Bibliography is missing this month but he has told us to expect him back in August. And finally, we are expecting to start next month a column dealing with the weapons of Gor. While it will only be part of TGV periodically, I expect it to become a favorite of many of you out there. And before I forget, I would like to give a big welcome and thank you to kaylee. You have seen her Cooking column here for some time. Well now she is taking over the Art director duties for TGV. Her work this month has been wonderful and expect she will make a big contribution to TGV down the road. As we start The Gorean Voice's FIFTH year of its existance, we still face some challenges. As other people have come forward in these past months, you too can help by joining the TGV staff ;-) There are gaps in what you have become used to seeing, and new columnists are needed IMMEDIATELY in the following areas:
If you want to continue to see these features, YOU need to step forward and WRITE. We can't do that, YOU have to. Of course if you have an idea of a NEW feature and are willing to help, other new features are always welcome, too. In an effort to add some new ideas I going to ask you, the readers to help contribute to a column. If this is successful, the topics will change month to month and try to get input from all of you, our readers. This is like a "Letters to the Editor", but your responses can be as long or short as you want. For this month I am asking for humorous Gorean related stories, incidents, etc... that have occurred to you with other Goreans or even non-Goreans. I will be including an incident that occurred to me, so please don't let me be the only one writing. We'll post the most humorous next month. If you want to be anonymous, please indicate so. You can email contributions to me at bennkar@email.com or gorean_voice@hotmail.com Please include in the subject "Humourous Story". I wish you all most well, BennKar
