Pantheus Speaks I'd like to introduce you all to the new editor of The Gorean Voice BennKar ! I'm sure he'll be introducing himself very soon, but he can do this, and has. It is with this in mind that Kaye and I are taking a step (way back) from the monthly grind of bringing you The Voice for these past four years. He's been working with Kaye and I for the past two issues, in fact did most of last month by himself, and did 99% of this issue, alone. Starting with the July issue, he'll be on his own, with Kaye and I only sparingly looking over his shoulder, *when we aren't fishing, relaxing or some of the multitude of things we hadn't been able to get done in the last 4 years due to commitments like these*. It isn't that we are "leaving" anything, we are not "quiting", we are merely passing the mantle of responsibility of the month to month grind to a qualified person who will keep it going, forever, I hope. Also I'll continue to host the site, and pay for the hosting and bandwidth, so no links, or bookmarks, or anything changes, except I get to go catch some fish, and drive the 1947 Willys Jeep, a *lot* more often As we wrap up for you the 48th consecutive issue of The Gorean Voice, and start the FIFTH year of its existance next issue, we still face some challenges. YOU can still help ;-) There are gaps in what you have become used to seeing, and new editors are needed IMMEDIATELY in the following areas: Lifestyle Interviews Debate FreeWomen Community Puzzles, crosswords, games We are also in need of a graphics-type person. Someone will and able to make a new button (or six), and edit or make a new header graphic on occasion as needed. This isn't a heavy time commitment, maybe less than an hour a month. The title could be Art Director, and the pay is the same as we all get, nada, zilch, nothing but the benefits make up for that [veg] If you want to continue to see these features, YOU need to step forward and WRITE. We can't do that, YOU have to. Of course if you have an idea of a NEW feature and are willing to help, other new features are always welcome, too. A couple of you have written to say there was some broken links in the archives and the index. They have been fixed. This is greatly appreciated as well. Please keep the issues that you find that need fixing coming. We do appreciate hearing of the errors you find in the archives or index. So while it with some sadness, and a lot of nostalgia, we are saying, not goodbye to you all, but so long for now, until our paths cross on some dusty trail. I wish you all most well, Ken
