The Search

How straight she stood, each inch of her body alive and splendid in her vigor and freedom.

Raiders Of Gor    Page 25

A free woman.

We are free, and yet we are women. The conflict that soars within our hearts as we travel our paths seeking, and searching. Yes, we search.

But what do we search for, what knowledge could a robed, and veiled woman wish to possess. Completion. Do we question our intent with kneeling and submitting to those we love, those we respect, and those we call strong men. We question always, because we are creatures of free will. Ah, I can only speak of what emotions pass through me.

I came to Gor with definite motive. It was to disprove women were lessor. It was to prove women need not be slave. For the true free woman, it is not within our grain to accept only that we breath to be found pleasing. We are conditioned to believe we are the foundation to any good man, with out us they simply can not exist. We live longer because we dare to cry out our emotions. We are smarter because we are so in tuned with our emotions, whereas men have always walked the logical path. So they say. I always wondered who "they" were.

Have we lost and abused even the word, relationship?

I believe so.

We need to step back to basics, and fill those needs which we deny. Safe in his arms we once were, why now are we afraid to be real, afraid to trust, afraid to love, fully. My life is full only when loved by a man whom I can truly fulfill. Please know there are men that consider this need as well. Who will stand with me and recognize this as truth?

I have questioned myself many times as to why I do not submit my all, why I stand free. Lower my personal walls, and reach out to trust one so implicitly that my life lays in his hands. We are terrified of not being accepted into the norm, into the cliche`s we have created. To be rejected, and taken advantage of. We have forgotten what unconditional giving is.

Rejection however could mean devastation to a woman`s mental balance. A death all on its own title wavering with us, as we yet again change and learn the lessons that bring us strength.

Completion.

To find that other person who completes them, as perfectly as possible. Be it slave, or be it a free companion. The perfect bondage that ties us as male and female together. Basting us in the secret that could define love as the answer. The perfect fit that makes puzzles art, and lovers soul mates.

"He had chosen the perfection of one man, the complete master, and one woman, the total slave. It is called the perfect bondage, each all and perfect to the other."

Book 11:442

I could not disprove women could not be slave nor that we are equal to men. A perfect example of this would be a man on his own then bringing a woman into his life, and home. Small touches she adds to the painting they live, a stroke here and lighter touch there. Not competing with him, complimenting the larger picture, a man and a woman together as one. Each thriving in their roles, and each knowing their place, without question. The woman that stands back from the light of others to support a man with all she is, and revel in his succession. To cry tears when he hurts and when the battle of life is too much for him to bare. The way his coffee cup sits ready for her hands to wrap around it each morning and fill, as they sit and eat their meal. Each day knowing as he comes home from work, it is she he will be with. The troubles of the world slipping away as she slips in his arms, waiting to love him, wanting to please him.

And he is of course pleased immensely.

Such is the lot of the free woman, so ladies please think of these words as you roam through Gor, listening and learning. We are so blessed to know these men, to love these men, and to share them.

What we take for granted we can not appreciate. It is the rare that catches our breath, and makes us strive for better places.
