A Peek Inside the Tuchuk Haruspex's Wagon....

Runes were first used over 1500 years ago by the Goths, and later appeared throughout England and Scandinavia. The word “rune” itself comes from an early Anglo-Saxon word meaning “secret” or “mystery”.

The Haruspex uses five sorts or kinds of runes for readings:

  • ice or crystal runes for questions about struggle or conflict
  • jade runes for questions about love or relationships
  • stone runes for questions about things of the natural world or things out of human control
  • gold runes for questions about career or prosperity
  • spirit runes for questions about spiritual or religious issues

The Haruspex uses one of five different spreads for a runes reading: a cross spread for a very complete picture of the overall situation, the diamond spread for understanding a conflict, the fork spread for making an important decision, the norn spread for issues of past/present/future and the overall evolution of the situation and the single rune for a quick and concise insight.
