Dear kajira{Generic},
Master gives his girl time for herself and one used to devote part of it to 'lifestyle' stuff. One would read and reply to emails, the boards and spend a bit of time in chat. All of a sudden, all of these things have become upsetting. Now one can hardly stand to turn her computer on even though she misses the interaction with other slaves and free. If she does turn her machine on, she ends up disgusted with herself and irked all day, or ready to reach through the screen and choke people. A girl wanted to know if you had ever heard of anyone else feeling like this, or is this girl the only one? And does it go away or will she always feel like this?

Dear tired,
Did you ever see the movie "Blazing Saddles"? Right now, this girl is smiling because she is reminded of the song lilly does in that movie. "I'm tired, tired of being admired, tired of love uninspired...."
Bad jokes aside, it sounds like you are suffering from simple burnout and one thinks it happens to every single one of us at one point or another. Sometimes the burnout lasts a few days, sometimes a few months. When it happens to this girl, she works on quilting and re-reads the books and simply ignores the humming white box on the desk for a few days.
The more time you have been involved in the online community, the more likely it is you have seen the same stuff happen again and again...It is hardly surprising that a body would get sick of it eventually. Or return for a while, and get tired again. So no, it is not just you, and it will go away in it's own good time. In the meantime, take a break. Play in the sunshine. Have a wonderful summer, keeping your mind on remembering your place and not on what is going on in the humming eletronic box. Beg permission to go plant some pansies... this girl loves pansies. :)
