A Tarn’s Eye View

Tal! Welcome to the April, 2006 edition, which is Volume VIII Issue 10, and is the 94th issue of The Gorean Voice.

We continue to be pleased at the response to the email notification system that we put in place last year! For those of you just discovering The Gorean Voice, you can receive an email when each issue of The Gorean Voice is available for viewing, so if you have not already done so, please sign up! As always, your confidentiality is honored when you sign up.

In this Issue

In theArt department, Vanion pictures someone Holding Position and someone else Prone to catch our attention!

In the Booknotes department, Socrates continues Blood Brothers of Gor, taking us through a battle, mysteries solved, plot twists, and the advancement of Cabot’s quest.

Xerxex gives us a view of a rugged portion of the seemingly endless Thassa coastline in the Maps department.

I offer an Editorial regarding Norman as a Champion of Female Sexuality. A short essay, it provides a perspective for times when the bashing of John Norman just makes ya wanna scream, “Don’t you PC folks have any sense of history?!?”

This just in from Mishel and the Crossword Puzzles department: “Tal and Fond Greetings! Can you believe it? We are finished with another series! The puzzle of this month, with only 47 words, completes the “Jason Trilogy.” Is he a winner? Is the infamous Miss Henderson finally his slave or does she revert to her old ways? Find out. Also, see Jason’s new home in this month’s jigsaw puzzle of only 208 pieces! He paid 2 gold for it you know! Peace be with you and may the wind be always at your back. Until next time, Enjoy!

The Recipes department is back!! holly shares meditations about Traditions and Observances and delights us with nut rolls and aprons. Welcome back, holly - we missed you!

In the Crossroads department, prism again tackles an important phenomenon. In Sex and the Single Slave, she confronts the emotional pitfalls that single women often experience when unowned, and she does so with honesty, humor, and optimism.

Watch for This

The Geography department will return!

We have someone to revive the Tarot department! This should start next month!

Because there are always proposed contributions in progress, The Gorean Voice is preparing other really nice surprises for you as well.

Possibilities for Contributors

There are many possibilities for contributors. If any of these departments appeals to you as a place where you might find a writing or other artistic niche, and of course, if you have ideas for a new feature and are willing to help, then read the guidelines for authors and let us know! Although some possibilities are more appropriate for one person to manage over time, many departments benefit from many contributors. Even if you are thinking about contributing only once, say, through Gorean humor or a book review or perhaps a poem, you should still contact me.
