Respectful greetings (see later...)
So, there I was, thinking to myself "Is John Norman Michael Crichton? Has he given up the Gor books because he's making far too much money, or did PC beat him into submission (as 'twere)? Were there any others after 'Renegades' that I missed out on? And if so, where the blazes would I get them from?"
And then: "Idiot! What's the Internet for anyway?"
Wading through several pages of search engine results that tell me far, far more than I will ever want to know about Al Gore, Tipper Gore and the whole benighted clan of 'em (nothing personal, most every politician takes me that way) I finally found a titles listing of the complete works and one or two other websites too. "The Gorean Voice" naturally catches my eye
Goodness gracious me.
Do we *all* start out thinking we're the only ones?
So here's a big hearty thank you to honoured Pantheus and the rest, whose closer acquaintance I hope to make at some future date, and in the meantime I should like to remark how much I have enjoyed reading about the rules of Kaissa (I'm no mean player of the Earth variant, and I have some comments, but they'll wait for now) and why John Lange wrote under the name of John Norman and where the admirable Crichton figures in all of this, and much more besides. It's like taking off a tight shoe.
Your readers (or the folks on the public boards - I'll have to wait to register until I'm not doing it at my employer's expense, a man has his honour to consider) might be amused to learn that "John Norman" was also the name of a news presenter on a BBC regional news programme called "Points West", late 1960's through 1970's. And Points West was based in, of all places, Bristol. So the circle closes.
Until I can present myself properly attired in the blue of a Scribe and make suitable helloes, I'll forswear Gorean modes of expression as one (temporarily, I hope) unentitled to use them hence the opening address and, reiterating my earlier hearty thanks, sign off with a few wishes that you may not find unbecoming from a stranger:
May the paga never run dry
May your slaves *seldom* require correction
And (if you are a Warrior) may your sword never stick in its sheath.

I just want to say good work. I was reminded of my Gor books That I read many years ago and wish dearly still had. What I want is back issues of the Gorean Voice so that i can read what I have missed all these years and to share them with my slaves. I had been trying to teach my slave what I wanted without realizing it was an Gorean lifestyle. then I found a girl loose in a chat room who begged me to make her a slave and it reminded me of the way things were done in the Gor books and then she said she wanted to become Kajira, and i knew i had found something special. Then I searched the web for Gor . and your web page came up. It was like coming home.bringing back fond memories.
