The left rune represents an important element of the past:

Sowelu is a strong symbol, and represents the sun or lifegiving force. In this position it speaks of a clarity of sight leading to making a decision needing to be made and making it positively and firmly.

The middle rune represents a deciding element of the present:

Dagez represents divine light such as the dawn, or the initial sparking of energy, or noonday as in the climax of energy. Both are symbolic of dramatic and rapid change with the warning that change comes with an upswing usually followed by a downward swing as well.

The right rune represents a critical element of the future:

Inguz is the rune of completion and fertility. The presence and position of this rune suggests that tasks and challenges which have been initiated will come to fruition and reward.
