When one has become a failed Gorean slave not only online but in off-line life as well, where does she go from there? How does she pick up the pieces of her shattered life, integrity and self esteem to be able somehow to move on?

Feeling one has failed.

Ohh, this can be a heart sinking feeling. Many slaves have experienced some sort of burn out at one time or another, this girl is not sure why your feeling like you have failed. A shattered life is not always easy to piece back together but one by one things will come more clear. The first thing that a kajira should do if she is feeling like a failure is look around her and define what she has failed at specifically. Many times, girls are their worst enemies because they want to please so much. If in fact, there is a number of area’s that are needing improvement there are several things that you may do. One, if you are owned, talk to the Master or Mistress that has you in collar. Communication is always the best key to any solution. If you are unowned, take some time for yourself and look within your heart. Take a week off of being online, sometimes that can lead to more confusion, as the needs and wants of a Master online is much different from those off line. There is an entire series of books waiting to teach us something when we go back and re-read the novels again. Call a friend and get out of the house and allow yourself some time to heal from all the open wounds hurting your heart. Instead of measuring how your feeling based on what you have messed up on that week, do the opposite. Do anything but involve yourself in what has you so down, keep a daily journal of the things you did do and focus on all the good things going on, not the past. After the weeks end, go back and read over your journal and do a brief synopsis of how your feeling in general. What did you miss in the life style, how did you miss it. What things brought a trigger upon your heart bringing you back to thinking of the lifestyle. If at that time you know where your heart stands and you want to improve there are many options open to you. Many times, looking to a sister or a friend in the lifestyle for some advise that knows the situation better at hand, will bring more happiness in the end because they are there. The way we, as slaves should see things as well in the lifestyle we have come to love, is that we are here to serve the Free. If we are owned, it is not our decision as to whether or not we have failed. Nor is it the decision of us to decide we have failed in whom we are serving even if not in collar. If you have been found pleasing and it is only yourself that you are not pleasing. Remember that we can not be our own judge. This girl has been in that situation many times.

Kajira hopes that this may have helped you and that you might find yourself again. Knowing your weaknesses and working to improve them is a large portion of the battle in the end. This girl has met many girls not even wanting to accept responsibility for their behaviors as negative as they were, or as many Free that told them otherwise. kajira thinks that is a great topic of discussion! This girl thinks that to be a good kajira all one has to have is the will and want to be of service to One. The desire to learn how to please the Free, striving to be the best she can be. This one has been in service to Master’s in many different ways. A simple conversation of the lifestyle or of a Master’s life can be a service. If the Master wishes that she talk and help teach her sisters, she is then in service to Him. A girl’s service is her Master’s wishes. Each Master and Mistress is different from this girls experiences and there is no one way to serve. In this girls ever so humble opinion, a slaves life can be as easy as the Master allows, or as hard as the Master endures it to be such. It is not the say within the slave to say if it is easy or hard. The girls response to a Master, may vary on the depths of difficulty within her heart and how new she is to Gor as well.
