Dear kajira korner,

In about a month, this girl will be moving to live with her Master. He has told a girl that she will continue working as a waitress and this one is worried. Not about the move, or working......but about her feet and legs. It is vain, but one has tiny spider veins from so much time on her feet and this girl's feet SMELL at the end of the day. She can barely stand herself, and cannot imagine what Master will think. What can a girl do??<

This girl used to waitress as well, and knows just how well 8 hours in leather shoes can ferment a foot. The best help one has found is soaking one's feet in tea tree oil and warm water after each shift (even a quick wash with tea tree helps), and sprinkling baking soda into your waitressing shoes. Baking soda is available all over the place, and tea tree essential oil can be found online or at health food stores. It is a natural antibacterial agent and has a fresh smell. A bottle lasts quite some time, as it only takes a few drops per foot wash. Last but not least, you can also soak your feet in vinegar water, and add some vinegar to the socks when you wash them.

One is not sure what to do about the spider veins..This girl has a few, and they do fade over time. A girl will do some searching and let you know if she finds any cure. Congratulations on your impending move!!

This girl was told to leave a tavern the other day because she had "spent enough time online for one day", according to the man in the tavern. He told her to log off, and not show herself online or in that tavern for at least two days. He is not her owner, so how come he is telling her she cannot be online? How is a girl supposed to talk to her friends? How would he know if she were to sneak online to just email people and let them know she will be gone?

First thing...look down, look around and check your attitude. If you are a slave, then you serve. It may be that you serve by sitting silently, it may be that you serve by going away. It doesn't matter if he owns you or not, if he is sick of seeing your nick, or just doesn't feel like being in a tavern with slaves.....you go. You are supposed to talk to your friends when you come back. At the end of "at least two days" (this one would wait three or four), you ask if you may be allowed back, and if this kajira was you, she would not abuse the privilege. If you are allowed back, one would email her friends and LOG OFF for the day and not pull some rebound 8 hour chat marathon. How would he know if you sneak? Someone might tell him. Or, he might never know.......but you would. And what would that say about you and your "slave belly" that burns to serve as long as it suits her?

Sorry to be so harsh, but it is this girl's opinion that you have some thinking to do about your place in the circle of Gorean life.
