The Gorean Voice recognizes, that there are a lot of web pages claiming to be Gorean. In viewing many, if not most of them, we find few that follow closely the writings, of John Norman, and tend to portray the html authors' vision of Gor. In that light, The Gorean Voice has an award that will be given monthly , to sites, that in its' opinion, are NOT representative of the Gorean way; but in fact are grossly false, or misleading. Fill out the application below, to have a gorean web site considered for this very prestigious award.

Why?: Just plain silly...

Description: We are not sure what the author of this site is trying to convey about himself or his *people*. His introduction is a malady of bad punction, poor spelling and complete boobery. His thoughts on women ramble on into a paragraph long sentence filled with typos. This provided much entertainment during our visit!

Why: Crashed earth space ships. Japanese swords and slaves givng birth to freemen

Description: The story begins with a ship that crashed from earth one walked away and though he was the only survivor;not long after that a band of raiders from Klima came to scaveng the wreck in the wastelands.

One day while out hunting he came across a band of theives abusing a slave girl.Wolf stepping in ran the theives off;seeing the slave was unko-lared her took her for his own.He treated her well.even making her silks from a material from his wrecked ship in the ungorean color of blue.Not long after a son was born;half-gorean,half human;the boy was named Rune.Rune seemed to be full of mischeif as a youngster and always in trouble.Therefore his father gave him the wolf name of Spirit Wolf.As he got older he was taunted by the other youngsters for not being full gorean.

This about the night of the katana.The man known as WOLF had earned great respect among the raiders.There were three things he valued one was his lovely kijara,second was his sons,third was the only thing he had left from earth two katanas (japanese swords).

Their father asked them to go to the rea-no kamea postion (which is a kneeling postion of a japanese swordsman)bringing his prized katanas out he himself assumed the position facing the young men.

Also SENSEI's trusted first sword ShatterStar was then placed as Ubar to rpresent the Wolves in Port Kar INN a tavern very near the secret entrance to FSS from Port Kar.
