A man’s world

What do they mean to you ? These words "A man’s world".

Lately I’ve come to the realization that perhaps none of us have thought too deeply upon the hidden meaning of these simple words. They have been haunting my mind for quite a while now, as I try to capture their meanings and essence. To see how my perception of these words fit into the life I’ve chosen to follow.

A man’s world… a man’s home. If I switch one word for the other… the meaning remains the same and yet my understanding grows by leaps and bounds. If I were to visit a man’s home how would I conduct myself? What could I expect should I ignore his rules? What must I do to remain a welcomed visitor?

It’s simple you must follow the rules for one. You must of course be liked J , but that’s a person to person standard.

I’ve seen women come online and enter a channel and disregard not only the rules of the channel but also the basic rules of courtesy, in an unwarranted and unwelcome effort to *prove* themselves.

I’ve seen women add their own verbal opinions and sometimes sarcasm when a man is reprimanding a slave.

I’ve seen women pursue an argument even after they have been told to "drop it" "be quiet".

I’ve also seen women oblivious to the sarcasm of men, brightly continuing forth their comments and arguments.

I’ve watched, I’ve tried to make some aware of their errors in pm’s and at times I’ve just shaken my head at the sheer stupidity of them.

This is a man’s world… his home… his castle… his channel… Here men are the law, they and only they rule.

We are free women… visitors… we are welcomed as long as we know and keep our place.

We can not :

  • Interfere in a discussion of men by men.
  • With a man reprimanding his or any other slave.
  • Decide to intervene in what *we* see as displeasing when men are ignoring the issue.
  • Demand anything
  • Expect to be defended (especially when we are wrong).
  • Which men we shall show respect to. Do you not realize that a man has allowed another to visit his home/channel and *you* decide that said man is unworthy of *your* respect?
  • Disregard the rules and regulations of any channel we visit.
  • Be vulgar, loud unpleasant and coarse.

We can :

  • Reprimand a slave for offense given to us. However should a man command said slave while we are doing so, the matter shall be quietly dropped until such a time that the slave is once again free to listen to you.
  • Expect to be shown respect by slaves if not we can reprimand, correct or punish as we see fit. A bit of advice though if the slave has an owner it is best to refer the matter directly to him.
  • Be charming, witty, fun, easygoing… etc…. etc… no one has ever been kicked for spreading good cheer and laughter.

Sure there are many more things I could put up there, but then it would drag on forever.

No one has to let anyone in their homes, if they do not wish it. I’m certain you hold the same attitude towards your own visitors you expect them to follow the rules of your house and if you don’t like their behavior you do not invite or welcome them in another time.

Of course no one is really invited online to a home/channel, simply we barge in and then start making scenes and making ourselves unwelcome… in short we abuse the privilege that is given to us… the one that allows us to go freely into most Gorean channels and not be kicked on sight.

There are not that many Gorean channels online that are worth it, why behave in a way that will make you an unwelcome guest at best or banned at worst from the good ones.

Would you enter a lion’s den and cause ruckus?

Smile.

I wish you all well

And pleasant visits on your wanderings
