Raiders of Gor book # 6

All of these puzzles on this page are from the Raiders of Gor, book # 6. They were provided by a shy slave who didn't want any credit for them... but I will whisper her name anyway. She is piegan{G`//} and I thank her for providing them to you for your enjoyment and for the challenges in trying to get them onto a page. As you might guess, next month will be Captive of Gor, book # 7

Something new this month, piegan is attempting a brain twister. Now some of you who know piegan are probably asking, isn't your brain twisted enough? But this is for you, not for piegan ;o). Enjoy. Also, any names used are totally intentional but done in affection and not meant to be offensive at all. Begging your mercy before hand, if she has displeased, it wasn't intentional.

Mysteries of Gor

Card Game Caper

(adapted from Pick a Peck of Puzzles by Arnold Roth)

Five Gorean men met on the same night every week to play cards. They played in the home of the wealthy manufacturer Pantheus Plentious.

This is the list of the men and their occupations.

Pantheus Plentious, weathly manufacturer and host (present with him was an unknown slave who served as backrest)

Kilronis Katchme, notorious gambler ( present with him was sefa{Kil}, attached to his leg like glue)

Phormio Fullpockets, prosperous moneylender (present with him was lexi{P} who found warming his feet a joy)

Stang Masterful, Infamous slaver (present with him was lana{St} who managed to wrap around his waist while he played)

`//olffe Grey, Famous columnist of "Gorean Tell All", a famous Gorean newspaper (present with him was skye{GW} who made soft slurping noises at the most interesting times).

On this particular night, the game was at a standstill as the men got up to stretch their legs. They all left the room, each taking with them their various living properties.

Upon returning they find Kisstress Notell, waiting for her friend Opal. They greet her and resume their game. Moments later Mistress Opal comes rushing into the room, shouting that her priceless armlet had been stolen. Made of gold and precious jewels.

Soon, Guardsman Longinius Armajustice, was called in on the case. After hearing everyone's story, Longinius announced:

"Only the last man to return to this room would have time to commit such a crime, and have time to hide the armlet."

The only one to see the men and their slaves return was Kisstress. When asked, she states in certainty the order in which they returned.

"Hmmm," she ponders, "Pantheus Plentious, the wealthy manufacturer returned shortly after `//olffe Grey, the famous columnist, who came back trailing Stang Masterful, the infamous slaver, with the clinging slavegirl of Kilronis who had followed immediately after Kilronis Katchme, the notorious gambler, which came in drawing the unnamed slave by her hair. Because I remember distinctly Phormio Fullpockets the moneylender entering a heartbeat before `//olffe Grey.

Word Scramble for book 6, Raiders of Gor. Hope you enjoy these.piegan wishes all a wonderful Thanksgiving. As a new twist this month, piegan has made it a bit more difficult for you, knowing how fast and smart gorean's tend to be. At the end of the scrambled words you may find a number. The number indicates how many words the scramble contains...Ex: slave girl might well be vglasriel(2). Leaving you with not one, but two and sometimes three words in which to cipher out. piegan begs you don't forget about the (-) mark, it too is scrambled in the words. Have a wonderful day. (PS. no # indicates one word).
