This girl was recently given to her Master, though it has been a hard trail, she has been so nervous about this upcoming new years party. Master’s orders were during the party to call Him by His first name and a girl has never done that in her life, it is second nature for one to call Him Master. she is so scared she is going to screw up so if you have any words of encouragement to help me remember my place during this ackward time it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for writing to kajira korner, kajira hopes that she can give you some inspiration you need. No matter if our Master’s want us to call them Master, Jarl, Sir, or their first name in public... we still serve them with the devotion of our hearts and that is what counts. There are many ways that a kajira will come to a Master, but all in all, His wish is our desire. If you make a mistake.. don’t make a big deal out of it because that will draw more attention to your mistake than if you were to just ignore it and go on. If someone asks about the “mistake” make light of the subject and tell them it is used sometimes as a “pet name” for your Master. Most won’t think twice upon it. But more than anything keep the communication open, tell Him your fears of making a mistake, maybe He has a better way of wanting you to handle it. The Free can’t read into our minds and our fears, we have to let them know, so they can better lead us.
