Sa-for a: Life on a Chain
by kisa{~K-FG~}

~ I ~

The Collaring

Everything you thought you knew,
Became the lie of deception.
Then drawn to kneel at the feet of a Man,
Reveals brilliant, startling truth
Submission. Surrender.
Laying down your life, your will, your all
And giving it into the hands of Another.
More afraid than you’ve ever been,
Breathing the first rare freshness of freedom.

Wondrous exhilaration of cold, harsh steel,
From One Who gives new meaning in acceptance.
Lost in His touch, you drown in His eyes,
Making you His, He gives lifebreath.
As new reality emerges from torn veil,
Hued with giddy innocence,
Early glimmers, just glimpses
But instinct knows,
This is so special. So rare.

~ II ~

The others

Somewhere along the way in time,
others are helplessly drawn like moths to flame.
To His strength and power, His bold masculinity,
And something else. Elusive. Hypnotic.
Kneeling, they fall to beg for His steel,
He also takes them as His.
Having felt what they feel, you did as they’ve done.
Even so no longer unique.
Nothing special you are now one of many.

~ III ~

The Jealousy

Shock and pain turn into blind fury,
The pale, bitter bloom of jealousy,
Takes deep root in your heart.
Hidden awhile, its bite takes control
Where He once did.
Clouded eyes turn inward with resignation, self-pity
Off of Him, no longer you serve.
All you feel is your hurt,
Til it’s all about you.

~ IV ~

The Chain

Choose to turn eyes back to where they belong,
To His needs, and theirs, not your own.
Look, remember and see all the joy in Their eyes,
As They look at each Other and smile.
They can’t help what they feel,
Remember, neither could you and it’s natural.
There is much more in common than not.
Stop fighting and surrender embrace it again,
And become a true daughter of the chain
His sa-for a.
