BennKar Speaks

Greetings and welcome to the 55^th issue of The Gorean Voice.

This month is a transition to a new calendar year, so I guess its only appropriate that it is a bit of a transition month here at The Gorean Voice as well. This month we have new columnists joining TGV, replacing some familiar names. For the Slaveheart column, lissa will now be the fulltime columnist, and for Kajira Korner we have a new kajira doing this column (kajira{Master}).

Another good piece of news is that we have a new artist being displayed this month, DeSade. He has sent along two pictures and promises to send along more in the future months. He also mentioned he would be interested in any requests for pictures the readership would like in future issues.

As always The Gorean Voice still faces the challenge of putting together issues that cover many areas.

As other people have come forward in these past months, you too can help by joining the TGV staff ;-)

There are gaps in what you have become used to seeing, and new columnists are needed IMMEDIATELY in the following areas:

• Lifestyle
• Interviews
• Debate
• Community
• Puzzles, crosswords, games
• Photography
• Philosophy

In addtion, we are always looking for artists as Vanion may need to concentrate on other areas of his life in the coming months. If you know of any artists that might be interested in contributing here (or perhaps you're a budding artist?), please make sure to ask and pass along our email address if they have any questions.

This summer I stepped forward to help this magazine by being its editor. But I can only do so much.
Make a resolution for the coming year that you too will contribute to something you love. Contact us and let us know what you can do to help. The prestige and satisfaction in contributing to the Gorean community is something that you can't measure. So open your mind, think on what you can do, and write us before the next issue comes out.

Of course if you have an idea for a NEW feature and are willing to help, please let us at TGV know as well.
