New Years Resolutions and such
The key to many workouts is the equipment, one of the best ways to not hurt your pocket book is to actually join a gym. What a girl has found that with many gyms is if you want that special attention you have to pay for it. Most gyms today will offer the basic routines, if you want more you're best bet is to pay a personal trainer. Personal trainers tend to be on the pricey side but they are there to motivate you and get you going on the right path. A girl started at a gym and it helped her in many ways, now she has a personal gym at home with the best equipment her dollar could afford. The key to working out at home is DO IT , do not say you are going to then let the equipment sit and collect dust. Watch the classified ads in newspapers, many people are selling off their dusk collectors very cheap. She found eBay also is a great place to pick up some great deals!
Equipment
Bowflex: a girl owns one and will say she just loves it. If you want a great piece of gym equipment with it all in one the Bowflex is the way to go. She will admit it is pricey but worth every penny.
Powerblocks: This piece of equipment is a wonderful. The Power block gives you all the free weights without taking up a lot of space. There is however another company called The Block that offers the same thing for half the price. A girl found that with every home gym you need the basic free weights for that great heavy workout!
Stationary bike: There are many types of bikes out on the market today, look again in the classified for a good one. Many people today are always upgrading and getting rid of the old style stationary bikes.
Treadmill: This is much better than a bike and will give you a much harder workout! There are many different types out there also. A girl will suggest if you are going to purchase one from any store spend that extra dollar and purchase one from a gym equipment store, that way you get the warranty
Do not think in order to get a great workout you need all the equipment at once, pick them up piece by piece that is the key to building your home gym.
If you are just starting out she will suggest purchasing a gym membership. A girl will say if it is a fight to even get motivated to workout go to the gym first! Always start slow but keep at it, sooner or later it will become a way of life! Over the years she has heard many people say oh I do not have the time, well it is simple one hour a day that is all it ever takes to get in a good workout. It is you that you have to convince not anyone else if you have the time!
She hopes this will help some start onto the path of good health. It is the New Year and lets just stick to the promises you make to you.
