New Year's Eve on Gor
by Temione

T'was the end of the year in Ar, Cos and all

And the slaves were all servin. The men had a ball.

They rounded up girls from all over the world.

But mostly they sang . Oh, how the Inns whirled!

They sang of the past year and all of its joys,

Of sweet little slaveys (never of boys)

They told of their battles and conquests and such

They ranted and raved of their prowess (a bit much).

I listened all year to the words of these men

And I wondered about them, again and again.

Their successes were many, their failures unseen

Tho I knew in my heart that couldnt have been.

How can a man win all through the year

With never a thought put to failing, or fear?

I listened well, and I learned quite a lot.

This is what I heard, like it or not.

Thorn says " I made quite a large pile of dough

Selling them sluts I watched my dough grow."

Sven said "Why Thorn I never knew that you could

Buy a girl in Ti, are any of them good?"

Thorn says to Sven "Why of course my good Man!

Buy one from me! Make a bid if you can!

So Sven buys a slave and adds her to his chain

And I move to the next table, listening again.

Two men who I had never seen before

Were speaking in whispers of assassins on Gor.

I chuckled a bit as I watched one apply

A mark to his forehead as he rubbed a girls thigh.

I moved about the room watching the folk

Laughing and carrying on with their talk.

Of all things Gorean, and what's really not.

Of all the topics and which ones were hot.

Four free women entered and sat prim and tall.

I Tal'd them and smiled and waved at them all.

I laughed as one sent three slaves ascurry

To do her bidding, the girls moved in a flurry.

I knew that whatever the girls did would be wrong.

I shrugged and moved on to continue my song.

Next I greeted a woman and man

Who I knew quite well and had yet to ban.

They whispered of things like jealousy and love

As I plucked my kalika, and sang like a dove.

(Are there doves on Gor? I wondered for a time)

I didn't really know nor care though (it rhymes)

So I moved about the Inn with a keen ear attune

To the topics of discussion, and I glanced at the moon.

I marvelled at this place as I have for awhile.

I admired the Men, their confident style.

The women with grace and elegant poise.

The slaves at their work, making little slave noise.

They all came together to celebrate the night

There was no conflict. Not one tiny fight!

Amazing! I thought that on one night of the year

They all get along and settle so near

To each other, I saw to my great wonder.

They actually spoke calmly. I had to ponder.

How come they could do this for one night and then

Go back to bickering and fighting again?

Why can't we all agree on any one thing?

Why must we tussle and what did I bring

To the party of the year, but my music and dreams?

Maybe I should have stuck to ice cream!

But I sang as I walked and listened to all

And I laughed with the joy of a woman havin a ball!

So Goreans think back on the year,

And dream of this world and all we hold dear

Be well, my friends. I wish you all peace!

The next Gorean year be the best one. Please!

So very long ago a girl entered a room ….
And with a soft smile and unknowing she greeted --
Greetings Sirs/Ma`ams
A friendly person spoke to her.
And within the first few moments of speaking requested
she call him Master..
Out of respect, tho’ it seemed strange, so she did.

Hour after hour, they spoke….
both finding the hour late
For him it was early morn, for the girl, darkest night.
She wished him pleasant dreams for the few hours of rest left.
Up she went to her own bed…
something within her
stirring strange feelings she did not understand.

In the days that followed she would find
her mind and body waiting impatiently
for the time to pass so she could speak
With this man she called by the name Master…
speaking to her of things she thought strange
a place called Gor.
Telling her how in his own life he tried to live by its philosophy.

Softly He spoke to her of places…
Where he would speak and visit with others,
Those who lived their lives as he did.
The girl then begged to learn more and to be taken there to learn more.
She knew in her heart that this is what she wanted….
To learn at the feet of this Man.
As the girls understanding grew so did the feelings of this girl.

The meaning of this burning desire…
she felt deep inside the very desire to serve,
a burning to be pleasing.
And so it came to be…
through this feeling of being pleasing
 the girl learned the meaning
of being fully a woman and His kajira..

Cav's beast

The season shall come
when you will mold me
with your upper hand.
The huntress in my countenance
obscured by my submissive sigh
and I, taking shape
will ask if I please you.

In the dawning of this union,
awaked to senses previously denied
(imprisoned by the great divide)
I will yield my spirit to you
to bend
but not to break.
Sweet spring rains will sate my cheek
and I will ask if I please you.

As your summer still rises
I shall bask in its glory.
Finding strength in your hands,
growth in your power,
every moment learning
beneath your fingers burning
and I will ask if I please you.

Seeking perfection together
we rise, entwining.
Where you are my sun
I am your moon
needy of your light
for my own illumination
and as the cycle winds its way-
dawn to twilight, night to day,
we will come full circle
and I will know
that I have pleased you.
