A Word Jumble

Assasins of Gor book #5

All of these puzzles and riddles on this page are from the Assasins of Gor, book #5. They were provided by a shy slave who didn't want any credit for them... but I will whisper her name anyway. She is miri, and I thank her for providing them to you for your enjoyment and for the challenges in trying to get them onto a page. As you might guess, next month will be Raiders of Gor, book # 6

Riddles Book # 5

Hope you enjoy these riddles, these were given to miri from a student at school, some where made up, some were adapted, some were just down right fun. (Thanks to TGV miri's now known as "the riddle woman" by her students....well, that and "The sentence lady", miri grins, "Lady...if they only knew. LOL." Please, enjoy!

Riddle I

I have roots that none can see
I'm taller than any trees
up and up I go,
and yet, never do I grow.

Riddle II

Voiceless, it cries,
Wingless, it flutters
Toothless, it bites,
Mouthless, it mutters

Riddle III

Cannot be seen, cannot be smelt,
cannot be heard, cannot be felt,
It likes behind the stars and under the hills,
and empty holes it most time fills.
It comes first, and follows after,
before birth, and closes up after.

Riddle IV

Box without hinges, key or lid
golden treasure inside is hid.

Riddle V

This thing:

all it devours,
Birds, beasts, trees and flowers
gnaws on iron, bites on steel,
grinds hard stne into meal.
Slays kings, and ruins towns
Beats high mountains into the ground.
