Alone
by aylin{FS}

Alone, she moves invisible through time.
The shadows hide her in emptiness.
Emotions that would make her feel,
are safely locked behind her smile.
The heart, that danced upon soft rays of sun,
lies quiet now, embracing night.
But each new pain will build the wall, and
protect the flower as it grows.

Worth
by aylin{FS}

Is worth determined by her looks
or knowledge gleaned from ahns in books?
Can it be the eyes of slave,
or perhaps the way that she behaves?
Will it be her swaying hips,
or pouty, soft, alluring lips?
The way a slave tends to her tresses
the gleam in eye as she undresses
her dainty fingers, slender arms
all these add unto her charms.
But does this then determine worth?
These gifts were given at her birth.
Or can it be that One see's more?
Can He see behind the door?
The one she hides from prying eyes
who is not capable of lies.
A slave who craves to please just One
with everything that she's become.
Will worth be given, to worthless slave
whose life seems like an empty page?
With eyes and hands and voice, can He
give slave a worth she cannot see?
When His kolar graces skin
then does the worth in her begin?
As He looks to heart and soul
does He seek for slave, a goal?
Questions pondered in her heart
just where does worth within her start?
Then as she ends as she's begun
her worth lies in the FadingSun.

her Sun
by aylin{FS}

She walks in shadows netherland
not quite the place called Hel
quiet mists embrace her form
as she roams through Yggdrasil.

Her steps to Bilfrost take her
before the time of Ragnarok
but flames of red would stop her
and Asbru could not be crossed.

Niflheim seemed to hold her heart
she was destined to spend all time
gazing across the Ginnungagap
to the fires of Muspelheim.

So to Alfheims shores she journeyed
Frey's kingdom of light divine
grateful that she walked above
the darkness of Svartalfheim.

Each branch of Yggdrasil traversed
seeking warmth to melt her heart
she wished the help from gods who dwell
in the faraway land, Asgard.

But mortal men should not aspire
to seek a god within his home
and destiny led this Midgard girl
down a path where she was alone.

She wept her lonely tears at night
and her sorrow filled the land
Bil peeked out from the moons soft glow
and seemed to understand.

Across Bilfrost on gentle ray
to the god of tears she'd fly
and beg The Glorious one all day
till the moon called her to his sky.

So intrigued by Bil's request
the wise god used his might
he cast his countenance on the girl
and filled her with his light.

As Balders light shone down on her
a glimmer pierced her heart
and Bil smiled from beside the moon
so happy she'd played her part.

No more wandering does the girl
now that Odins son has blessed her
she has her own Sun every day
and she'll be happy ever after.
