Here we are again, with another Gorean Tarot reading. These readings are something synne has used for introspection, self-therapy of a sort, and for learning how to view her problems objectively. The cards tend to direct her attention places it would normally never wander, allowing her to catch insights she would not without having it pointed out to her. She hopes the same kind of guidance finds its way to those who take the time to read the readings each month.

This month’s reading is written for lunaa, property of Master RhyKhan.

The Six of Shields, in the first spot, refers to the underlying situation which is affecting the issue at hand, or the recent past. It is a card about having versus not having things. It doesnt tell you specifically which, it is up to you to decide. It can be about having or not having resources, such as material resources, or support from those around you. It’s have/not have may also be seen as getting (have) versus giving (not having). It may also concern such areas as knowledge and learning, or power, be it power within a relationship, or in a less personal setting such as work. Make sure that you recognise just what you have, instead of taking it for granted. Consider making a necessary sacrifice to get what you want. Give a little to someone less fortunate. Accept a helping hand when it is offered. In other words, try to find the balance needed between having and not having, between giving and receiving.

The Home Stone is in the second position, and is reversed. The Home Stone, Gor, the world. Here, it is the issue at hand, the focal point of the reading, and being reversed can mean that its energies are being blocked somehow, or that they are less than would be ideal at the moment. This card speaks of wholeness, integration and harmony. A feeling of having it all often accompanies days that this card could describe. It speaks of service, work and dedication. Now while a slave might already *think* she knows exactly what this means, keep in mind we are always learning, and so to hold the world in your hands, you must continue to learn and dedicate yourself, not just stagnate because you have what *you* want. For the Free, this card might mean something a bit different. The type of service, work and dedication a Free Person devotes to a Home Stone is no less important, or demanding, but inarguably, it is different. Once again, work to keep what you have, and to get what you need.

The card in the third position, meaning either the outcome or a factor for consideration, is the Entertainer in a reversed position. Because it is reversed, it might mean that you need to work to bring the card’s energies into full realisation, or it might mean that a lessening of its qualities is a possible outcome of your situation. It speaks of action, doing with conscious thought and deliberation, of concentrating and finding a focus, or of centering your will on a focus already in place, of understanding yourself and *making* things happen. Be creative, create your own miracles, apply your will and use your talents to make possibilities come to life. It is also another card focusing on power. Perhaps you are not using power you have, or are using it wrongly. Find out where the problem lies and learn *why* it lies there. Perhaps you are heading for a place in your life where you hold less power, or where you need to give up some of your personal power. Think it through carefully.

Lotsa love sis, and hoping you get something out of it...
