Bow Tie Pasta with Broccoli and Ham 2 cups uncooked Bow Tie Pasta Cook pasta in boiling water for 10-12 minutes adding broccoli for the last 3 minutes of cooking time. Drain and return the pasta a broccoli to the pot. Add prepared Alfredo sauce, ham and mushrooms over low heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Serve topped with fresh grated parmesan cheese.
Linguini with Pesto 2 lb Linguini Combine all ingredients except the linguini in blender until smooth. Add dry linguini to boiling water and cook for 10-12 minutes until tender but firm. Drain, leaving linguini in colander. Add basil mixture to the empty pot heating until it thins. If you prefer a thinner pesto add additional olive oil. If you would like a creamy pesto, slowly add heavy cream stirring until you reach the desired consistency. Toss sauce with linguini, top with freshly grated parmesan cheese and serve. |
