Greetings Goreans
Those of you that know me, know that the Tahari is dear to my heart
Lately I have been hearing so much misinformed nonsense on this region, I decided it was time to re-read "Tribesman of Gor" and jot down some relevant information.
Nowhere did I read of throwing salt into the fire as a custom. I failed to find where FreeWomen beg to become FreeCompanions, walk around nekkid under a Haik to become slave when they enter a tent, then Free again when they leave it. Maybe I have a different volume of Tribesman than others, but I could not find anywhere chalwar being described as "chaps", or a tribe named Khadadii.
Without going into the actual storyline of the novel, I list some of the facts from the book, with relevant page numbers, some are found numerous times but there are no contradictions. I have not included things that are common in other parts of Gor, only those which pertain to the Tahari. If I have overlooked anything I would be pleased to have your advice.
May your waterbags never be empty, may you always have water

.Right hand is the Scimitar hand, and is the only hand used to eat with, as it is the hand used for wielding steel and taking blood Sharing of salt "Let there be salt between Us" Salt is placed on the back of ones wrist and is offered to another who takes it off with his tongue. This gesture is the reciprocated"We have shared salt" is then said and echoed (obscure but assume this is the Tahari equivalent of becoming blood brothers)
